Getting to Zona Libre

There are several ways to get to the Free Trade Zone in Colon. The easiest way is to get in a car and hop on the Corredor Norte in the direction of the Colon. At a certain point you need to change onto the newly constructed toll road to Colon. This new highway has made transit between the two oceans of Panama much easier. Getting from the Pacific to the Caribbean can be done now in under an hour. 

Another way to get to Colon is via a bus from Albrook Terminal to Colon. It's around $3.00 but it takes longer and makes stops. Taxi is also an option but will probably cost upwards of $20-$30 all depending on how well you haggle.

Something to note: Unregistered vehicles are not allowed entrance to the Free Zone. So, to enter you must register in the office at the main entrance to the Free Zone.
